CashShield
Terms of Service

Service scope

CashShield provides rule-based control over Shopify cash-on-delivery payment visibility and ordering. The merchant is responsible for configuring rules correctly for their business and jurisdiction.

Merchant responsibility

Merchants are responsible for reviewing every rule they create, including postal-code restrictions, customer-tag logic, and payment method naming. CashShield should be tested in a development store before production rollout.

Availability

CashShield is provided on an as-available basis. The operator may update, improve, or discontinue features to maintain compatibility with Shopify platform changes.

Acceptable use

You may not use CashShield to violate platform policies, laws, or payment network rules. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashShield is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including lost sales, chargebacks, or business interruption arising from app use or configuration errors.

Termination

You may stop using CashShield at any time by uninstalling the app. The operator may suspend access where necessary to prevent abuse, security issues, or policy violations.

Changes

These terms may change over time. Continued use of CashShield after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
